    On chatgpt.com, open Settings, then Security and login, and turn on Developer mode. ChatGPT shows a warning: that’s normal for any app added by URL.

    Go to Plugins and click +. Name it Flyra, paste the URL above as the MCP server URL, set Authentication to OAuth, and click Create.

    Don’t choose No authentication. Flyra would connect with no actions.

You sign in on Flyra’s own screen. ChatGPT gets a connection, never your login.

Touch an area you switched off

Under Advanced on the approval screen, turn off any area, like Payroll or Expenses, and every action in it is refused.

Change anything without your OK

Reading is automatic. Creating, sending or charging waits for you to confirm, and you can deny any of them.

Go beyond your role

It does what your role can do in Flyra, nothing more. A Sales Rep’s connection can’t see payroll, issue refunds or change company settings, and Technicians can’t connect yet.

Reach a company you’re not part of

It only sees the Flyra companies your login belongs to, and it names which one it’s working in.

How do I connect Flyra to ChatGPT?

On chatgpt.com, open Settings → Security and login and turn on Developer mode. Go to Plugins, click +, name it Flyra, paste https://mcp.flyra.io/mcp as the MCP server URL, set Authentication to OAuth and create it. Flyra opens: click Authorize ChatGPT.

Which ChatGPT plans work?

Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise and Edu, set up on the web. The free ChatGPT plan can’t add a custom app. On Business and Enterprise, a workspace admin may need to allow Developer mode first.

Why does ChatGPT say Developer mode is risky?

ChatGPT shows that warning for any app added by URL rather than from its directory. Flyra signs in as you, ChatGPT asks before every change, and you can remove it at any time.

Do I need an API key?

No. ChatGPT signs in to Flyra with your own account through OAuth. Leave the client ID and secret blank.

I use Claude Code or Cursor. How do I connect those?

Those are set up by file with an API key from Settings → Developer. The setup for Claude Code, Cursor and Claude Desktop, and the full list of actions, is at mcp.flyra.io.

Flyra is added but has no actions. Why?

Authentication was set to No authentication. Delete the app under Plugins and create it again with OAuth.

Does it cost extra?

No. The connector is included with your Flyra plan.
